We have received a letter from «Kyiv municipal physical education federation of the deaf» public organization that there would be a rock climbing competition for school students aged 15-18 with hearing disabilities. To celebrate St.Nicholas holiday and along with the organization, as patrons of the competition, we provided gifts and prizes for prizewinners and competitors for various categories. This year’s competition was held on an artificial climbing rock area.
Our volunteers Roman, Natalia, Ryma and Leonila attended the sports event on December 10, 2023, which took place in Marmelad shopping center. We saw teenagers conquer new nights on artificial rocks. For some of them it was a chance to try a new sports, and some of them it became a great opportunity to overcome fear of the height.
After the competition our volunteers took the floor and and made s holiday speech, as well as awarded the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners in male and female categories. However, not only the winners, but all the competitors received gifts from «Hear with the heart» charity organization.
We would like to thank Oleh Lavryk, the president, for the invitation to become a patron of such a great holiday event. We love giving presents and entertaining childern, and despite the war stripping them off their childhood, it is essential to create only good and positive memories in such a hard time.
